Director for Strengthening the Black Church & Congregational Development
The Peninsula-Delaware Conference of the United Methodist Church is currently seeking applicants (laity or clergy) for the position of Director for Strengthening the Black Church & Congregational Development.

Qualifications include: a Masters Degree, experience in growing the local church, and expertise in visioning and goal setting, knowledge of United Methodist history and polity, and ministry strategy.

A resume and a letter indicating reasons for seeking the position, including reflections on the Position Description,* should be received by February 15, 2009.

Chaplain
Simpson College, a selective liberal arts college affiliated with The United Methodist Church, seeks applications and nominations for the position of Chaplain.

The Chaplain provides leadership to a vital, extensive religious life program including weekly worship services, more than 30 student led discipleship, fellowship, worship, service and outreach groups, and pastoral counseling. The Chaplain must be an ordained member of The United Methodist Church. Preference will be given to persons with experience in campus ministry. Christian Education Director
Wesley UMC in Harlingen, TX, is looking for a person to be responsible for its program for children and youth. Wesley UMC is a medium-size church in the Rio Grande Valley with a good education program. Salary will be $30,000-40,000 depending on experience and education.
